Travel Itinerary

1 - Arrive Chennai

Tour Guests will arrive at Chennai Airport as per their Scheduled flight. Upon arrival get transferred to your pre-booked hotel in Chennai. Overnight stay is in Chennai

2 - Chennai – Mahabalipuram

After breakfast begin your guided city tour of Chennai covering places like the Fort of St. George, Fort Museum,St.Mary's Church,Basilica of Santhome. Do not forget to spend some quality time at the fabulous sandy Marina Beach which is the longest urban beach in the world.

Afterwards drive to Mahaballipuram. Once you arrive here explore its rock-cut and monolithic monuments that represent the early stages of Dravidian architecture. They constitute cave temples, monolithic rathas (chariots), sculpted reliefs and structural temples.

3 - Mahbalipuram - Tanjore

In morning move to Tanjore, famous for its rich paintings and it has witnessed a major contribution to its cultural and historic heritage.

Upon arrival visit Chola's grand Brihadishwara Temple, Royal palace, Shivaganga Fort, Rajaram Museum, art gallery and Schwartz Church.

Optionally step out at the local bazaar and buy Tanjore Paintings.

4 - Tanjore – Madurai

Begin your journey to reach Madurai. On arrival cover famous places like Meenakshi temple, Tirualai Nayak Mahal, Gandhi Museum, Koodal Azhagar temple and many more.

Rest of the day is at leisure and you can plan it the way you want.

5 - Thanjavur - Thekkady

After leisurely breakfast you will be assisted for checkout formalities and then drive to Thekkady.
In the evening, take a boat ride at Periyar Lake [On direct payment basis] to view the exotic south India's wildlife scenes when elephants drinking water or playing at the edge of the river.

6 - Thekkady

After breakfast, be ready to take a tour of the Periyar National Park with your Tour Guide which is a home to rare varieties of deer, elephants, bison, sambars and the most exciting one, Tiger.

Later explore the spice plantations of Periyar. Famous for its huge spice fields, the city is one of the biggest producers of pepper, cardamom, cinnamon and ginger.

7 - Thekkady – Kovalam

After leisurely breakfast, you are headed to Kovalam and we will ensure that your room is kept ready when you arrive.

Rest of the day is at leisure and you can plan it the way you want.  Moreover you can also visit Ayurvedic centres and spa to rejuvenate yourself.

8 - In Kovalam

No activities or excursions are scheduled for this day.

However, if you want then explore city’s famous backwater lakes, lush paddy fields, coconut trees and spice trails on your own. The main attraction of Kovalam is the Lighthouse Beach, Eve's or Hawa Beach, Ashok Beach and Samudra Beaches are the most sought beaches. You can also try to visit Vizhinjam, Chowara and Valliathura Pier fishing villages to delight yourself.

9 - Kovalam - Alleppey

Kovalam – Alleppey After leisurely breakfast, you are driven by your personal chauffeur to Alleppey to board a private and fabulous house boat for an overnight stay. The backwaters of Alleppey manifests in many ways of "Venice of the East" and captivates visitors attraction..

10 - Alleppey – Kochi

In morning time on the house boat enjoy stunning and glorious views of backwaters and chinese fishing nets. After leave houseboat & drive to Cochin.

Have sightseeing of St. Francis Church interment place of Vasco Da Gama, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace and the Chinese fishing nets a fixed land installation technique of fishing. In the evening enjoy Kathakali Dance show in Kochi.  Overnight stay.

11 - Cochin – Mysore

After leisurely breakfast, You drive to Mysore, known for its palaces and churches.

It will be a full day journey to Mysore. Enjoy scenic and rustic views of local markets, villages while driving to Mysore. Overnight stay in Mysore.

12 - In Mysuru

Morning visit Chamundi Hill. Atop this hill, there is a 4.8m high statue of Nandi the Bull, and Mahishasura (Demon king) statue. Visit Maharaja Palace built in Indo-Saracenic Style where the gold throne is displayed during the Dasara celebrations. Visit Art Gallery in Jaganmohan Palace houses a huge collection of ceramics, sandalwood, ivory, stone, antique furniture and ancient musical instruments.

13 - Mysore - Hassan

Morning drive to Hassan and on the way visit remarkable and exciting temples of Belur and Halebid. These two places are an excellent example of Hoysala era temple architecture.

Chennakeshava is the main temple of Belur and was built in 1117 AD as a victory celebration and 100 years it took to complete.

The Hoysaleswara Temple is the principal attraction of Halebid which was built in 1152 AD.

14 - Hassan – Hospet

Move towards Hampi. Hampi is a spectacular rock moulded land where every rock formation is remembering its own contribution. A capital of the imperial Vijaynagar Empire who ruled during 14th century. Visit of Hampi is scheduled for you and you explore the ancient Virupaksha Temple, Vittala Temple and Kodanda Rama Temple. Overnight stay.

15 - In Hampi

Full day to explore Hampi and nearby sites. Night stay is in Hampi

16 - Hampi – Bangalore

After breakfast drive to Bangalore. In the afternoon take a half day tour of Bangalore covering places like the Bangalore Fort, Vidhan Saudha, the Bull Temple, Cubbon Park, Lal Bagh and many more.

17 - Bangalore Depart

The morning is at leisure and you can make a visit to the local market .

Later in the day, depending on your flight schedule, you will be greeted by our representatives to help you out with the checkout formalities, followed by your transfer to the Bangalore airport for your flight home.
