Day 01 Arrive Chennai- Thiruvanamalai

Welcome to Tamil Nadu! On your arrival at Chennai International Airport, you will be received and transferred to Thiruvanamalai

On arrival check into your hotel. Later visit Arunachaleswara Temple, Sri Ramana Ashram, Yogi Ram SurathKumar Ashram, Sri Seshadri Ashram & Sathanur Dam (Optional).

Day 02 Thiruvanamalai - Trichy

Morning checkout and drive to Trichy. A short drive to Trichy.

Visit Rockfort Ganpathi Temple, Tiruchi. By far the most popular place in all of Trichy is the Rockfort Ganpathi Temple or Uchi Pillaiyar Temple. It derives its name from it’s unique building style.

The most prominent historical monuments in Tiruchirappalli include the Rockfort at Teppakulam, the Ranganathaswamy temple at Srirangam dedicated to the reclining form of Hindu God Vishnu, and is also the largest functioning temple in the world, and the Jambukeswarar temple at Thiruvanaikaval, which is also the largest temple for the Hindu God Shiva in the world. The archaeologically important town of Uraiyur, capital of the Early Cholas, is now a neighbourhood in Tiruchirappalli. The city played a critical role in the Carnatic Wars (1746–1763) between the British and the French East India companies.

Day 03 Trichy - Rameshwaram

Drive to Rameshwaram

Day 04 Rameshwaram - Madurai

After breakfast you will be driven away to the cultural capital of Tamil Nadu known as Madurai

Day 05 Madurai - Palani

Palani Murugan Temple: The Palani Murugan Temple is the main highlight of the town. It is one of the six abodes of Lord Murugan, also known as Kartikeya or Subramanya. The temple is located on a hilltop, and devotees climb a flight of steps or use the ropeway to reach the sanctum. The temple complex showcases beautiful architecture and intricate sculptures. It is believed that a visit to this temple brings blessings and fulfills devotees’ wishes.

Panchamirtham: Palani is renowned for its special prasadam called Panchamirtham. It is a sweet concoction made from five ingredients, including jaggery, bananas, honey, dates, and ghee. The prasadam is considered highly sacred and is distributed to devotees at the temple. Many visitors purchase Panchamirtham to take back as a divine offering or as a souvenir.

Thiru Avinankudi Temple: Located at the foot of the Palani Hills, Thiru Avinankudi Temple is another significant temple in Palani. The temple is believed to be the place where Lord Murugan, in the form of a child, defeated Lord Ganesha in a contest. Day 06 Palani to Mysore

Drive to Mysore.. Visit Tippu’s summer Palace, Mosque, and Sriranganatha Temple. On arrival in Mysore, check-in a hotel.

In the evening, visit Chamundi Hill. Atop this hill, there are 4.8m high statue of Nandi( the Bull, Lord Shiva is believed to be riding) and Mahishasura (Demon king) statue. visit Maharaja Palace built in Indo-Saracenic Style where the gold throne is displayed during the Dasara celebrations. Visit Art Gallery in Jaganmohan Palace houses with a huge collection of ceramics, sandalwood, ivory, stone, antique furniture and ancient musical instruments.

Day 07 Mysore to Bangalore

Checkout and drive to Bangalore. On arrival at Bangalore check in at your hotel.  Visit ISKCON temple (built Indo-European architectural design and run by an international body of Krishna devotees), Lalbagh ( 240 acres of gardens with varieties of flowers and rare collection of tropical and sub-tropical plants) and Vidhana Soudha, a massive building housing the state Legislature and the Secretariat. Government Museum, one of the oldest museums in the country followed by visit to Tippu’s Palace, a summer retreat of warrior king Tippu Sultan.

Evening is free for your own activities return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 08 Bangalore to Tirupati

After breakfast you will be driving to Tirupati.

Tirupati Temple is considered as one of the holiest shrines by the Hindus.. On arrival check in at your hotel. Visit one of the most favourite sacred destinations in the World. Day 10 In Chennai

In the morning visit to the capital city. Your first visit will be to the famous Fort St. George. The fort is named after St George who used to preach in Chennai. It was built in 1640 by the British East India Company. It also encompasses other historic monuments such as St Mary’s Church & St George Fort Museum. Have a short drive to visit the famous Santhome Church where the Basilica was built over the tomb of St.Thomas, one among the three in the World. St. Mary’s Church was designed by Edward Fowle and built by William Dixon. The structure is a rectangle built with brick and polished lime. The curved roof makes the structure unique and different. The church started as Government congregation and later the monument became as one of the protected areas of the Archaeological Survey of India. Also visit the Kapaleeswarar Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
