Travel Itinerary

1 - Arrive Delhi

Arrive at Delhi Airport where you will be greeted and will be transferred to your pre booked hotel. Night stay is in Delhi.

2 - Delhi

Full Day city tour of Delhi, be amazed with renovated Humayun’s tomb, longest bricket minar in the world – Qutub Minar, drive past to President’s house, martyr emblem India Gate. Then you will be driven to the past – known as Old Delhi. Here visit largest mosque as Jama Masjid and Red Fort. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

  • Enjoy Rickshaw ride with visit of Old Delhi.
  • Optionally Go for live Bollywood show in the evening ( Closed on Monday’s ).

3 - Delhi - Ramgarh ( By Morning Train )

At the break of dawn, board your train for Ramgarh, – a village in Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. Here you can watch the largest number of paintings, old mansions. It is whispered that Ramgarh is abode to the biggest number of frescoes in any town in Shekhawati.Upon arrival in Ramgarh check in at your hotel.

In the evening enjoy camel cart ride which will be for 2.5 hours. You will be taken to deep Rural Rajasthan, especially to Chattris, baolis ( 125 years old approx ), Havelis ( Old Mansions ) and architectural temple. Night stay is Ramgarh.

4 - Ramgarh – Bikaner (3 Hours Drive )

Morning enjoy walking tour which is of 2 hours. We promise you, it is very enjoyable. A walk all the way through the bazaars of Ramgarh can convey you back in time. It is a treasure trove of painted havelis, temples, chhatris ( cenotaphs ) and johras ( water tanks ). No visit to the town is absolute without a tang of the famous Ramgarh laddoo ( a sweet ) offered at many halwai shops. You can also buy handicrafts and handmade wooden furniture from here.

Come back to your accommodation and drive to Bikaner. On arrival at Bikaner you will be transferred to your hotel. The first idea of Bikaner is that of a town amid scrub and sand dunes. The rocky protrusion in a unfruitful landscape provides a spectacular surroundings for the Junagarh Fort, One of the best in Western Rajasthan.In the evening if you want you can purchase Footwear, purses and cushions of USTA work, local carpets and woodwork.

5 - Bikaner – Phalodi

At the crack of dawn visit Junagarh Fort which one of the exclusive examples in Rajasthan of the illogicality involving medieval military architecture and beautiful interior decoration. This wonderfully conserved fort has an entrance by the yellow sandstone gate to the east, known as Sun gate.

Furthermore you will visit the Lal Niwas, where its old walls are richly decorated in red and gold, in Gaj Mandir watch its mirrored Shish Mahal, the splendid Coronation Hall decorated with plaster work, lacquer, mirror and glass is in Anup Mahal. Ganga Niwas, Chandra Mahal, Chetar Mahal, Chini Burj, har Mandir, Phul Mahal ( Flower Palace ) – are all different architecture geniuses which articulate a story of their own.

Continue your visit to Rampuria Street and the Purana Bazaar. Some of the most superb havelis in Bikaner belong to the Rampuria, Kothari, Vaid and Daga business families. The sandstone carvings in conventional form have an influence of royally architecture. Among these, the Bhanwar Niwas has been converted into a heritage hotel.

Carry on to Phalodi which was once a trading center being on the land course from North Western India into Central India. The region saw a lot of movement in those times. Although a range of rulers ruled this city, it was initially under the rule of Rao Maldev Rathore of Jodhpur. Night stay is in Phalodi

6 - Phalodi – Jodhpur – Rohet Garh

In the morning visit famous Lal Niwas built in 1750, is a masterpiece in itself. As the name imply the Haveli was totally built out of red sandstone. It was a small palace that has been carefully restored. The interiors were just outstanding – artifacts on the wall, impressive chandeliers with cut work glass, the arms / weapons and lather opium boxes, will take you back to the Rajwaras.Here you can also watch migratory birds get together.

Watching them circle in noisy, rolling formations overhead, or stepping delicately across the sands, has to be one of the great sight of the Thar region. Drive to Jodhpur and visit Jodha’s mighty Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada. Carry on to Rohet Garh, a picturesque village of Rajasthan. Night stay is in Rohet Garh.

7 - Rohet Garh – Rawla Jojawar

Today explore Bishnoi Village in a jeep safari for understanding Bishnoi culture famed for true love to nature and animals, where you can dot wild life similar to black bucks, chinkara, blue bulls, desert foxes, partridges, peacocks, and can also have a chance to see the bishnoi families & meet village people.Carry on your drive to Jojawar.

Set amidst the Aravalli hills, this little stronghold fort was one time a key principality of the Royal house of Marwar. Presented with the heading of Rao, the nobles looked after this little fiefdom for about two centuries after its construction in the 18th century.

8 - Rawla Jojawar – Udaipur

In the morning explore Jojawar by small walking route. Jojawar summons the sightseer to discover it; the small town is a unseen gem in the province, exploring it on foot escorted by one of the staff guides is a great way to experience life here as it open up before your eyes.

Return back to your hotel and then drive to Udaipur. On the way visit 1000 pillared Jain Temple in Ranakpur. On reaching Udaipur – city of lakes check in at your hotel. Night stay is in Udaipur.

9 - Udaipur – Jaipur ( By Train Journey )

Capital of the famous Sisodias of Mewar, who fought the fiercest battles against the foreign trespasser, Udaipur was built on the shores of Lake Pichola by Udai Singh II in 1559, when his former capital, Chittorgarh was captured by the Mughal emperor Akbar. The 5 lakes that spot Udaipur have received for it the sobriquet of ‘The City Of Lakes’.

Travel around City Palace where some its section of it is now altered into museums and heritage hotels. The move will be all the way through the Tripolia Gate – a dot where the rulers were weighed against gold and silver and the value of it was dispersed in the public.

Continue your city journeying by visiting Saheliyon Ki Bari, Folklore Museum, Shilpgram. In the evening board your overnight train to Jaipur. Night is on board

10 - In Jaipur

Arrive at Jaipur and you will be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy your breakfast before embarking for Pink city tour.

Explore Amber fort – recreational palace for Kings and its queens. Later make a visit to City Palace which is a marvelous example of opulence of Mughal era. Next on city tour is Hawa Mahal which is an former palace for royal ladies from where they used to watch the daily processions of the city.

Also visit Jantar Mantar which is an antique royal observatory.Evening is free to explore the lively markets of Jaipur. Overnight stay is at the Hotel.

11 - Jaipur – Abhaneri – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra

Morning drive to Agra. On the way visit Abhaneri Step wells. Abhaneri is famous for ‘Baoris’, which are the exclusive discovery of the natives for harvesting rain water.

Amongst the other step wells, Chand Baori is the most admired one. Chand Baori is one of India’s deepest and chief step wells. The vast tank with flimsy carvings is surely enchanting to the eyes. Later drive to Agra. On the way visit Fatehpur Sikri, deserted due to lack of water.

Continue your drive to Agra for your overnight stay.

12 - Agra – Delhi Depart

In the morning proceed to visit world famous TAJ MAHAL one of 7 Wonders, built by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in memory of his queen Mumtaz Mahal to preserve her earthly remains.

Later visit Agra Fort, which lies on the curvature of the river Yamuna. Built by Akbar over 1565-73 AD, it was consecutively occupied and added to by Akbar, Jahangir and Shah Jahan.

Afterwards drive to Delhi to board your flight for onwards journey. Tour Ends.
