Travel Itinerary
1 - Arrive New Delhi
You will be met at the airport and transported to your hotel. For those arriving earlier in the day take the time to recover from the flight. Check in time at the hotel is 12pm.
2 - New & Old Delhi Sightseeing - Board Evening Train For Jaipur
After breakfast our city tour begins with premier tastefully done Mughal architectures – Red Fort [Drive Past], Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid Mosque & Humayun’s Tomb. Walk in the slim streets of busy ‘Chandni Chowk’ with lots of Indian fast-food joints to try out, savour an ice-cream as you click pictures at ‘India Gate’.
In the evening, board your train for Jaipur. On arrival at Jaipur you will be transferred to your hotel.
3 - In Jaipur
Post breakfast our guide will accompany you to the sightseeing places. The city is reputed for having been home to the royal Kings and Queens and their opulent lifestyle. You will see grand forts and ornate palaces viz. Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, City Palace & Jantar Mantar. Overnight stay at Hotel.
4 - Jaipur - Agra by Drive
Morning drive to Agra en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri where you will see its features as – 54 m high entrance Buland Darwaza, tomb of Salim Chisti, Ibadat Khana, Birbal’s house & Panch Mahal.
Continue to Agra and visit ‘Agra Fort’ made of red sandstone. The UNESCO-listed heritage site flaunts high fortification with mind blowing features used for dashed protection from enemies.
5 - Agra - Delhi by Road [200 Kms/ approx. 4 Hrs] & board train for Haridwar
Morning visit Taj Mahal the white marble beauty was constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It has been declared a World Heritage Site in 1983.
In time Drive back to New Delhi and board your train for Haridwar. On arrival at Haridwar you shall be directly driven away to Rishikesh for your overnight stay
6 - In Rishikesh
Full day to explore Yoga capital Rishikesh. Have yoga classes [ On direct payment basis]. Have dip in holly river Ganges. Explore Ram & Laxman Jhula. Here we visit a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lakshman Mandir – place where Lakshman meditated to attain enlightenment.
Further if you want then watch spellbinding aarti celebrations of holy river Ganges in Rishikesh. Night stay is in Rishikesh.
7 - Rishikesh - Amritsar [By Train]
After morning breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Haridwar to board your train for Amritsar. On arrival at Amritsar check in at your hotel for overnight stay.
8 - In Amritsar
Amritsar – 400 year old city was founded by fourth guru of Sikhs – Guru Ramdas. Amritsar is renowned for famous Golden Temple, literally – ‘Pool of Nectar’, derives its name from the holy pond around the temple.
Visit the Golden Temple, which symbolizes equality and human brotherhood, then on walking distance explore Jallianwala Bagh.
In evening time pay a visit to Attari Border the Beating Retreat Ceremony held here every evening in Amritsar. Overnight stay.
9 - Amritsar – New Delhi [By Train]
After breakfast move to Amritsar Railway station to board train for New Delhi, On arrival at New Delhi railway station you shall be transferred to your hotel for last night stay in India
10 - New Delhi Depart
In time drive to New Delhi airport to board your flight for onwards journey. Tour Ends
