Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrive Kochi
Welcome to Cochin, a port city located on India's southwest coast in the state of KeralaYou will be met at the airport and transported to your hotel. For those arriving earlier in the day take the time to recover from the flight. Check in time at the hotel is 12pm.
Day 2 - Tour of Kochi
Spend your time with local sightseeing in and around Cochin where the Queen of Arabian Sea is one of the finest natural harbors in the World and was one of the major centers for commerce and trade with British, Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch, etc.
Sightseeing attractions in Cochin include Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jewish Street, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets.
In evening watch live performance of Kathakali Dance Show at the cultural center. Overnight stay.
Day 3 - Kochi – Thekkady
Today drive to Thekkady. On arrival proceed for the sightseeing tour of the world's most fascinating wild life reserves. The Periyar wild life sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq. km of which 360 sq. km is thick ever green forest. Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Optional activities like Boating at Periyar Lake and Elephant Ride can be done at an extra cost.
Day 4 - Thekkady – Alleppey
Morning drive will be to Alappuzha also known as Alleppey which is a principal center for backwater cruises in Kerala. Here you'll board a houseboat for a ride along the canals of Kerala—truly one of the highlights of the trip. Learn how these waterways are the lifeblood of the area; local commerce revolves around it, with boats laden with everything from fish to the daily newspapers!
Day 5 - Alleppey – Kochi [By Drive] & Fly to Jodhpur
Morning checkout from your floating villa and then drive to Kochi airport to board your flight for Jodhpur. On arrival at Blue city check in at your hotel for overnight stay.
Evening you will be taken to see the famous Aarti in the Ganges. Engross in the beats of claps, ringing bells, blowing conch, enchanting mantras and hymns and the sweet-scented air. Let the magical aura of the place awaken your soul. Get back to the hotel after that.
Day 6: - Jodhpur – Bikaner [ Sam Sand Dunes ]
Today the expedition starts with Meherangarh Fort located on a low sandstone hill, at a height of 120 meters is one of the largest forts of Rajasthan. With menacing thick walls and intricate carvings, this turret is one treat to the eyes. Explore Moti Mahal or Pearl palace, built by Raja Sur Singh, is a resemblance of elegance and beauty. Mounted by Maharaja Abhaya Singh, the Phool Mahal – the palace of flowers, used to be a private and an exclusive chamber for pleasure.
Next, visit Jaswant Thada, built by Sardar Singh in 1889, in the memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II.
Later move for Bikaner. On arrival, you will be staying in a mud house of Bikaner village. Enjoy the local delicacies of the Rajasthan village with overnight stay.
Day 7 - In Sam Sand Dunes
In the morning have breakfast at mud home stay and drive to starting point of camel safari. In the afternoon you will be served hot lunch while doing safari. If you are photograph lover then you have ample opportunity to photograph wildlife of desert, where Chinkara (Gazzal), Desert Fox, Blue Bull, Rabbits, Vultures, Eagles, Falcons, Demossil Cranes, Sandgrouse and verity of other animals can be sited.
Dinner will be severed at camp. Overnight in the camps / tented accommodation.
Day 8 - Sam Sand Dunes to Bikaner – Jaipur
In the morning have breakfast at camp and begin the camel safari 01 to 02 hours. Today camel safari will cover nearly 8 km. Later drive to Bikaner to explore Juna Garh fort, Haveli, Old Bazar, & famous Jain Mandir.
Completing your city tour will compel us to drive for Jaipur for overnight stay.
Day 9 - Explore - Pink City Jaipur
Today is your most splendid day of the tour as you flip through Jaipur’s timeline. The absorbing day of sightseeing shall transport you across the pages of Indian history as you land at the porch of the elephantine Amber Fort, as you stare star-struck at the royal artifacts of the City Palace, as you get mesmerized at the royal observatory of Jantar Mantar and as you wind up the day with a visit to Hawa Mahal, the iconic palace of the royal ladies.
Optionally in evening we will take you to a theme park where you can enjoy games , mehndi , veg authentic Rajasthani food , magic show too among other activities . A lovely way to soak up the culture. Return back for overnight stay.
Day 10 - Jaipur – Abhaneri – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra
Morning head on for Agra. On the way explore Abhaneri step wells which is popular for the Chand Baori step well
Abhaneri is prominent for ‘Baoris‘, step wells which were invented by the natives to harvest rainwater. These tanks were used as cool places of retreat and as water reservoirs during parched times of the year.
Carry on to Agra. En route visit Fatehpur Sikri which was made the political capital of the Mughal Empire by Emperor Akbar from the period of 1571 to 1585. On arrival at Agra visit Agra fort, a blend of Mughal and Persian architecture. Overnight stay.
Day 11 - Agra - New Delhi
Early risers will visit Taj Mahal for a very memorable sunrise
[Note that Taj Mahal is closed on every Friday]
Taj Mahal is a white marble mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial to his wife Mumtaz. One of the New Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal attracts over three million visitors each year. If you have extra time, you may like to continue onto Akbar's Mausoleum to pay your respects to the great emperor.
In evening time drive to Delhi for overnight stay.
Day 12 - Delhi & New Delhi City Tour & Depart
Brace up for a clash with history as we zip you across the length & breadth of Delhi to showcase the mighty Jama Masjid (India’s largest mosque), the monumental Red Fort, the patriotism-laden India Gate (a war commemorative) and the Parliament House. A rendezvous with the Humayun’s Tomb and the Qutub Minar shall brighten up your senses.
Later in time drive to New Delhi airport to board your flight for onwards journey. Tour Ends
