Travel Itinerary

Welcome to Delhi! Upon arrival at the airport, you'll be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel. If you're arriving earlier in the day, take some time to settle in and relax after your flight. Standard hotel check-in time is 12:00 PM. Get ready to begin your Rajasthan Food Adventure.

This morning, have a true local experience with a Delhi Metro ride at 09:00 AM, taking you straight to Old Delhi where your food tour begins. Explore bustling food joints, sampling diverse Indian dishes and cuisines. A highlight will be a stop at Delhi's vibrant Spice Market, where you'll learn about the myriad of spices used in Indian cooking.
Late evening, you'll board a superfast overnight train for Jodhpur. Settle into your basic sleeper berth for an authentic Indian rail journey. Night is on board.

Welcome to Jodhpur. Upon arrival, get transferred to your hotel. After refreshing prepare to explore
imposing Mehrangarh Fort, built by Rao Jodha in 1459, offering breathtaking bird's-eye views of the old city's iconic blue houses. Next, discover Jaswant Thada, a serene marble memorial. Later, discover yourself in an exciting cooking class, where you will uncover the deep secrets and authentic flavors of traditional Rajasthani dishes. 

This morning, embrace the cool air with an refreshing Jodhpur Bicycle Tour. As the "Blue City" awakens, you'll pedal through its scenic vistas, witnessing the city's renowned hospitality firsthand. (Remember comfortable shoes, clothes, hat, and glasses for your ride!)

Later, we'll drive to Pushkar, a town steeped in spiritual significance. Visit the captivating Brahma Temple, one of the very few dedicated to the Hindu creator god. Then, explore the sacred Pushkar Lake, encircled by various ghats. Overnight stay is in Pushkar

This morning drive from the sacred town of Pushkar to the vibrant Pink City of Jaipur! Upon arrival, check into your hotel.
In the evening, prepare for a Rajasthani Cooking class. 
Rajasthani cuisine is famous for its rich flavour and spices which is mainly influenced by the lifestyle of the Maharajas and Maharani of Jaipur.
Some of the local cuisines we will prepare and eat are: Lall Maas, Gate ki Kichdi, Rajasthani curry, Bundi raita, vegetables.

In morning experience morning aarti at 18th century Govind Devji Temple where crowds chant songs to the deity, which is also worshipped by the erstwhile royal family. From here we shall move towards flower market to watch turbaned crowds trading sacks of roses & marigold.

After breakfast explore the Pink City's iconic heritage. Discover the majestic Amber Fort and its sparkling Sheesh Mahal, offering stunning Aravalli Hill views. Next, marvel at the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) and explore the grand City Palace, a treasure trove of Jaipur's royal past. Along the way, indulge in a street food experience, sampling savory Chole Bhaturas, Pani Puri, sweet Jalebi, and authentic Rajasthani delicacies 

After breakfast and check-out and drive from Jaipur to Agra. On the way explore the unique geometric wonder of Abhaneri Stepwell, a truly ancient architectural marvel. Then, step back in time at Fatehpur Sikri, the magnificent deserted Mughal city.

Upon arrival in Agra, check into your hotel. In evening, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the bustling Sadar Bazar and the vibrant Food Street of Agra, where you can savor local specialties and soak in the city's lively atmosphere. Overnight stay in Agra.

Early morning have an unforgettable sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal (closed Fridays). Witnessing this ethereal white marble masterpiece, built by Shah Jahan for his beloved Mumtaz Mahal, bathed in the soft morning light, is truly magical and offers stunning, less crowded views.
Later, explore the majestic Agra Fort, a testament to 16th-century Mughal architectural brilliance. 
In time you will be transferred to New Delhi (approximately 205 KM drive) to board your flight for your onward journey. Your Rajasthan Food Adventure Tour concludes. Safe Travels.
