Travel Itinerary
Arrive at Mumbai Airport and you shall be transferred to your hotel for overnight stay.
Made up of seven islands on the eastern periphery of the Arabian Sea, Mumbai attracts people from all over the country to its prosperous streets. Mumbai is also the abode of ‘Bollywood’, an industry that creates more films per year than any other city in the world.
This morning, we depart for Goa by train, traveling along the scenic Konkan Railway through the Western Ghats. Goa, once a Portuguese colony, was built on the Arabian Sea, with remnants of churches, monasteries, and gardens. It became a thriving trade hub for pearls, silks, spices, and more. The Portuguese influence is still evident, with Roman Catholicism as the main religion and afternoon siestas being common. Don’t miss the local specialty, pork vindaloo, and the strong drink, feni.
Today in afternoon take a walk around Panjim city where you will find glimpses of European style in balconies, red tiled roofs etc.
Also visit a local spice plantation, to learn a little of the spices and plants that grow between these fertile landscapes. A journey of the gardens with a local guide will disclose the massive wealth of Goa’s aromatic treasures, containing pepper and nutmeg, vanilla and cinnamon.

Arrival at railway station near Hampi where you will be straight driven away to Hampi.
After breakfast have a visit to group of Hampi temples visiting Virupaksha temple, Lakshmi Narain Temple, Vijaya Vittala Temple. Mesmerize yourself with art and architectures of Hampi site. In the evening opt for visit to local bazaar or stay at leisure. Night stay is in Hampi

After breakfast, drive to Badami. Check-in to your hotel on arrival. Visit Badami which is famous for its rock cut temples. Places to worth visit are: The Banashankari Temple and Badami Cave Temples dating back to the 06th& 07th centuries. Later drive further to visit the temples and sculptures of Pattadakal, Aihole & Mahakuta blended in Dravidian and Nagara style.

After a morning drive to the railway station, board the train to Kochi, Kerala. Known as God's Own Country, Kerala is surrounded by the Arabian Sea, Western Ghats, and 44 rivers. With serene beaches, emerald backwaters, lush hill stations, and vibrant wildlife, Kerala offers diverse natural wonders, all within a two-hour drive of each other. Upon arrival in Kochi, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for a restful stay.
Kochi, a historic port on the Malabar Coast, was a key spice trade hub and the first European settlement in India. Today, visit the 16th-century St. Francis Church and see traditional Chinese fishing nets at the harbor. Spend the rest of the day exploring Kochi before attending a vibrant Kathakali dance performance, showcasing Kerala's classical dance, drama, and music. After the performance, enjoy a delicious dinner at your hotel.
After breakfast, move to Munnar located at about 5,200 ft above the sea level. Munnar rolling hills covered in mist crisscrossed by the winding road, the dark emerald green colored plantation and the few lone houses in its midst of it will immediately make you fall in love with this place. It is also an ideal place for nature lovers, wildlife lovers and adventure enthusiasts alike.

Today, drive to Periyar National Park hanging high in the Cardamom Hills, the best-known wildlife sanctuary in South India, home to elephants, antelope, deer and many species of birdlife. Its diversity of flora and fauna, virgin lakes and impressive forests will surely make this visit most memorable.
Optionally wander leisurely through one of the area's spice plantations. You'll hear about the many different ways to use these spices in both medicines and in the preparation of food.
Today the drive to Alleppey reveals this tranquil backwater region of Kerala. Boarding a houseboat, you cruise along this very intricate network of canals, lakes, lagoons and rivers called the "Venice of the East." Monitor Kerala's rural lifestyle as you glide past tiny villages sprinkled with rice fields and witness a way of life that has changed little through the ages. Early morning hurry to board 2 hours train journey for Trivandrum.
Morning visit the well-renowned Napier Museum. This museum is an amalgamation of Mughal, Indian, and Chinese cultures. That being said, another highlight of this place is the natural air-conditioning system.
Secondly, visit the Sri Chitra Art Gallery. It exhibits rare paintings belonging to the Tanjore, Rajput, and Mughal school of art. The oriental collection of paintings hailing from Tibet, Bali, Japan, and China will give a refreshing perspective.
In the evening board your train for Madurai. On arrival get transferred to your hotel for overnight stay.

Board a scenic 2-hour train ride to Trichy, known for its historic and pilgrimage sites. Visit the Rock Fort Temple, built in 508 AD, and the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, originally constructed by the Dharma Varma Chola and later expanded by King Killivalavan. These temples offer a spiritual experience with their grandeur and history. After exploring, head to Tanjore for an overnight stay.
Today visit the famous Lord Brihadeeswarar Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This impressive building was built by King Raja Raja Cholan a thousand years back. This monument is considered among the splendid architectural accomplishments of South India.

Morning you will by travelling by train to Pondicherry. On arrival at a near Pondicherry you will be transferred to Puducherry.
Your journey along the coast takes you to enchanting Pondicherry, a former French colonial settlement that still retains its carefree French atmosphere and architectural legacy. In the charming Old Quarter, with its tree-lined cobbled streets, colonial villas are draped with fragrant bougainvillea, and sidewalk cafes abound. Today visit serene Auroville, City of Dawn famous for the meditation center inspired by the teachings of the Indian yogi Sri Aurobindo. Later, tour a factory where delicate individually handcrafted papers are produced followed by a visit to Aurobindo Ashram. Take a rickshaw ride around the French, Hindu and Muslim quarters of Pondicherry.
